EMPLOYMENT STATUS: FULL-TIME, PERMANENT
The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales team. They will be the second point of contact to our clients, and act as our Sales backup.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The Sales Administrator reports directly to the Sales Manager. The incumbent also works directly with:
o Inventory Department
o Service Department
o External Resources
The Sales Administrator holds the authority to do the following:
o Identify and recommend areas for process improvement
o Work independently with little supervision
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
The Sales Administrator will work in an office environment. They must abide by the company dress code and wear rubber gloves while cleaning. A valid class 5 driver’s license may be required to travel occasionally for job-related activities.
High School Diploma
Experience and Training
1 – 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or an applicable combination of education & experience in marketing
Knowledge of products and services offered by Tridon Communications
Proficient in computer application programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Sales Administrator must be able to spend 70% of the day sitting and/or walking, 20% standing, and 10% lifting boxes up to 10lbs. The incumbent will be also required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time. There is a possibility of eye and/or joint strain related to operating computer equipment.
