We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals, with a passion for electronics and communications, to program, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair communications equipment at the repair centre and job-site.

• Install wireless communications equipment in stationary and mobile applications
• Program, Install, and maintain conventional, MotoTRBO, and trunked portable radio equipment and  point-to-point broadband systems
• Install, maintain, and tune antenna multi-coupler systems, repeaters, duplexers and transmit combiners
• Install and maintain antenna systems on towers to 500’ while complying with safety requirements
• Support and adhere to the Corporate Health & Safety programOther duties, travel, overtime and on-call duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of RF principles
  
• CET Certification an asset
• Knowledge of IP Radio Systems, with Motorola TRBO and Motorola trunking experience an asset
• Experience working with repeaters and duplexers; RF field experience an asset
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics Engineering  Technology/Technician or combination of  education and experience
• Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) Certificate considered an asset
• High School Diploma

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Good problem solving abilities
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
