Tridon Communications is currently seeking a Human Resources Advisor with experience in Policy development and compensation for a 6-month project-based contract role. Immediate start available with flexibility in schedule and hours per week up to full time.

About You:

You have a Diploma or Degree in Human resources or a combination of academic and professional background in HR, along with good understanding and knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation. You will have proven work experience as an HR Advisor, HR Recruiter, or similar role. You have experience in reviewing and updating HR Policies according to current legislation; creating job descriptions; compensation reviews; and employee relations; in Telecommunications, Electronics, and or Oil and gas Industry.


About the Job:

The Advisor is responsible for providing project-based support to the HR Manager with a primary focus on policy review, compensation review, and employee relations, for all company locations. The Advisor will also be responsible for the completion of assigned projects as well as improvement of HR related programs, processes, and the related administrative duties.


Required Work Experience:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Experience with policy review and creation
  • Experience with compensation review
  • Experience with the creation and review of job descriptions
  • Experience with employee relations


Must Haves:

  • Diploma or Degree with a focus in Human Resources or combination of education and experience
  • Certified Human Resources Professional designation considered an asset
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Effective listening and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Prioritization and organizational skills
